Please be aware that this is a past event.

Humanitarian leadership is currently at the forefront of debates on humanitarian performance and accountability. At the same time, the challenges of leadership continue to grow, with operational humanitarian leaders working in chaotic, often physically challenging and insecure environments.

As one of the most researched topics in the business world, understandings of leadership have evolved over the past fifty years, yet there has been limited specific thinking about humanitarian leadership. ALNAP’s study combines thinking from outside the sector with case studies and interviews with operational humanitarian leaders in a range of crisis settings. Read more about the study.
