World Conference on Humanitarian Studies 2016

The 2015 World Conference on Humanitarian Studies ‘Changing Crises and the Quest for Adequate Solutions‘, will be held 5-8 March in Addis Ababa, hosted by Addis Ababa University, Bahir Dar University, Cordaid and World Vision Ethiopia.

The call for papers has been extended to 20 January 2016. http://www.humanitarianstudiesconference.org/index.php?id=20

This will be the 4th biannual WCHS. For those who haven’t attended before, we typically have 400 to 600 participants and 70 to 90 papers and presentations delivered. It’s by far the single biggest gathering of researchers and practitioners focusing on humanitarian research and development.
