Transformative Safeguarding Course, United Edge
August 30, 2024 09:00 - September 19, 2024 17:00
Please be aware that this is a past event.
The Transformative Safeguarding Course with United Edge is a groundbreaking and comprehensive live online part-time course. It will cover all of the fundamentals you’d expect and then goes deeper by exploring how we can root our safeguarding work – be that our projects, our teams, our whole organisation and even our sector – in justice. It’s a must for anyone working for social change – including both safeguarding leads and non-safeguarding professionals.
We’ll be providing you with tools to use with your organisation, and we’ll be challenging the culture that often centres on donors instead of those most affected. Our online courses are very interactive and fun, sometimes confronting and challenging, and always a wonderful space to meet people who are looking for radical alternatives.
As well as a global cohort of participants, we are bringing together a team of facilitators and guest speakers from around the world. You will be learning from, and connecting with, safeguarding experts with lived experience of safeguarding issues and safeguarding professionals from a diverse range of contexts.
Please join, especially if you want safeguarding to go beyond tick-box activities in your team or organisation!
