The INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN CONFERENCE 2013 will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 28th to 30th November 2013.
The conference will host small and large NGOs from across the Asia, leading academics and humanitarian workers from all over the world. Topics covering the areas of delivering humanitarian assistance during conflicts and disasters, resilience, health and the handling of media and diplomatic issues will be examined. There will be a number of keynote speeches, presentations and workshops bringing together best practice and the latest research.
The theme of the conference is Sustaining Humanitarian Efforts, Over the Long Haul.
Key speakers for the conference include Mr. Yves Daccord, Director General of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
