Abdul Mannan

Abdul Mannan, He/him Deputy Director-Programs I Sector Focal-Food Security, Livelihoods, Climate Change and DRR, Society for Health Extension and Development (SHED). I am a humanitarian professional with over 18 years of experience in the non-profit and humanitarian sector. Currently, I serve as the Deputy Director of Programs at SHED in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, where I lead initiatives focused on food security, livelihoods, skills development, climate change, and disaster risk reduction. Over the past six years, I have played a key role in the Rohingya Humanitarian Response, where I’ve been instrumental in developing strategic partnerships, securing international funding, and enhancing project implementation. My expertise spans policy formulation, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and project management. I have also had the opportunity to participate in various international forums and training programs, which have added global perspectives to my work.
