Aid work is becoming more perilous – the past two years have seen the highest number of aid worker fatalities ever recorded, driven by escalating armed conflict. At the same time, growing funding constraints are straining the capacity of organisations to manage security risks effectively.

In this increasingly volatile landscape, humanitarian actors must urgently rethink how they operate. In collaboration with Humanitarian Outcomes and Global Interagency Security Forum (GISF), we will soon be launching the third edition of the renowned Good Practice Review 8, a timely and practical handbook to help organisations navigate this complex operational landscape.

Join us online on Thursday 26 June (3:00-4:30pm CET/1:00-2:30pm GMT/9:00-10:30am EST) for the official launch of the GPR8, which will include contributions from the edition’s editors and humanitarian security professionals, including Awil Bihi, Steve Dennis, Lisa Reilly and Alan Mordaunt.
