WASH Project Management in Emergencies is a four day training module that prepares humanitarian personnel to address the needs of WASH In crisis. This is a highly participatory course, with group exercises and theory based sessions, provides an overview of managing WASH projects in emergencies, identifying key issue and key technical skills. The course is suitable for participants from a wide range of backgrounds including: Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Managers and Coordinators, from the field or HQ, Engineers and environmental health professionals looking to move into WASH programmes etc. Emergency response or management specialists with some experience of a major transnational NGO or the UN, emergency desk staff of humanitarian organizations, and government officials working in emergencies zones.
