The Master of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Logistics and Management (MASHLM) is a part-time executive program designed for humanitarian professionals. Participants learn to optimize supply chains, improve operational processes, think more strategically, and manage projects more successfully.
Students attend 6 sessions in Lugano, Switzerland. Each session lasts one week, except the final session which is 12 days and includes thesis defence and graduation. The program takes 12 months to complete. This part-time format allows participants to earn their master degree while working full-time.
MASHLM is more than just logistics. Students come from all over the world and work in diverse fields within a humanitarian context including logistics, procurement, HR, WASH, ICT, security, child protection and transportation.
Participants earn an Advanced Master’s degree equivalent to 60 ECTS and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificate awarded by the Università della Svizzera italiana.
Applications are evaluated on a rolling basis until all places are filled. Students requiring a visa for Switzerland are strongly urged to apply as early as possible. The visa process can take up to 3 months.
